This is the largest billboard in Qeshm, my hometown, which is a small island in the southern region of Iran. The billboard was purchased in 2018 to host the World Cup. Although due to lack of money, the proper projector was not obtained, the billboard remained unused and was eventually moved to another location for advertising purposes. In the year that was called the worst year of Iran’s economy

This is a small example of the city’s economic problems
This city has affected most of Iran’s cities, including Qeshm, which is one of the largest ports and economic hubs in the whole country. The city’s commercial situation has long been severely damaged by changes in world currency prices and has affected people’s jobs, including business owners and marketers.

And now it’s the coronavirus that makes things worse
This is exactly the RED situation.

I show this empty billboard to show the economic issues of today’s Iran, because it has been uninhabited for a long time and no one is willing to add color and glaze to it.
